I've been applying to PhDs in nuclear engineering, and I wonder if there's anybody else around to talk with about it. I see that there are at least two other people who are active enough to say that they got into North Carolina. What do you guys think about the usnews rankings of schools? I applied to (and really like) RPI's program, but see it as fairly low-ranked (not even in the top 10). Where are your top picks, etc?
