I received an email from the director of one of the programs I applied to asking to schedule a phone call for early next week. I interviewed for them a few weeks ago. Could this be anything but an offer? I'm so excited - this would be my first acceptance!

Thanks everyone for words of encouragement and advice. I know that I will most likely have to wait until mid March or so before I really know what my options are. In the meantime, I guess I will just try not to think about where I am going to spend the next 6 years of my life... Good luck everyone!

I have now been wait-listed at 4 of the 9 I/O PhD programs I've applied to (UMSL, Penn State, GW, and USF). Although I am still waiting to hear back since interviewing for CUNY graduate center, it is frustrating to have not been formally accepted anywhere as of yet. Can anyone relate to this/have any idea what my chances should be of getting into at least one of these schools? I'd really appreciate some advice.
