I called because I needed to know by today for another school, but they will be sending me an e-mail as well.

Haha! Sounds plausible to me! I feel like UCLA always tells people on Wednesday or Friday. Hopefully they tell me tomorrow. Good luck with SF state and congrats on UCLA. When did you put in your application for UCLA by the way?

I'm trying my hardest, the wait is just getting old! I'm becoming obsessed! lol

No, I seriously can't wait any longer. =[

I haven't e-mailed him or left him a message because it seems that he never gets back to anyone. I just call a few times through out the day to try to reach him personally. I know what you mean, I JUST WANT TO KNOW! I have to tell USC by the 23rd whether I accept or not and I have already extended the date!

So I called Lance again last Friday and he said my status was the same, just waiting for the chair of the department to verify the decision. I am so nervous, I can't wait any longer! He also told me that on Thursday he was given a list of about 45 people to deny and that I wasn't on that list. I can't take the suspense!

No problem! We have to help eachother out! =] I'm sure you guys are going as crazy as I am checking your e-mail every 2 minutes! =\

I called Lance on Friday, and he checked the status of my application. He said that my app was already reviewed by the committee and the final decision is being confirmed by the head of the department. He said this should mean I will know very soon. I applied 12/15 just in time for the fellowship deadline. I don't know if it is the same for those who applied before or around the same time I applied.

I just received my acceptance letter from USC! Congrats to everyone on their acceptances!

GEEEZ! I don't how much longer I can wait! I've been thinking about it non-stop the past couple weeks because it is getting closer!! What schools are all you guys applying to as well as UCLA, and what are your stats?
