For German ETAs (especially going to Berlin): are you planning on arriving to Berlin early to set up housing before the orientation? I was originally planning on just flying to Cologne on September 5th, but now I am getting nervous about housing in Berlin! What are your plans? Also, would anyone be interested in potentially searching for/going in on housing with me? I studied abroad in Berlin last spring and I know the city pretty well which might help in the search. And of course, if you are interested we can talk further. Either way, let me know how you set up your travel and your plans to find housing.

No, I just received a letter in the mail from IIE in New York.

For applicants to Germany: I heard yesterday by mail that I am an alternate ETA. Which annoyingly means MORE WAITING. Good luck to everyone else!

Thank you for that information, tjm! I also applied for an ETA Fulbright in Germany and I am anxiously awaiting their decision... I guess I have some more waiting ahead!
