[The first rejection (and the emotions that follow)]

I just got rejected from an MFA program and feel like a total loser...I still have to hear back from two others and it's so embarrassing to tell people how I got rejected...

[Johns Hopkins University MA in Writing: Still Waiting...]

I sent my application in January 15th and still have heard nothing...Has anyone else applied there? Have you heard back yet and know what the acceptance rate is like? I know that the MFA at Hopkins is nearly impossible to get into, so I did not apply there. Ugh, maybe something will be in the mail today?

3 movies from Netflix came in the mail. And an e-mail from UBaltimore saying that the MFA decisions will be made by March 16th. As for Hopkins, I'm waiting like crazy...Sigh.

[Who else has heard nothing?]

I applied to the MA Writing program at Johns Hopkins and it's been over a month of waiting. Same goes for the MFA program at University of Baltimore...I know that the MFA program at Hopkins is practically impossible to get in to, but I'm hoping that the MA program accepts more students. I'm having such a rough time dealing with this last semester of undergrad at Goucher and not knowing where I'm going to be at this time next year. I feel so helpless. All of this waiting is painful, especially if it ends up I'm rejected from both. I could only apply to these two colleges because I need to stay in-state and there were no other schools in the area that had my major. Ughhh..
