Obviously, the only reason I am applying to grad school is so that I can sit on the front lawn of my campus in a circle with my peers who live in the abstract and beat drums (sarcasm).

I saw that the website said a decision had been sent via email or mail and in a rejection-panic after not seeing an email I called the English Office and got the good news I was accepted--no word about funding or anything of that nature, but she did say that would be covered in the email that would be incoming today or tomorrow. Best school I've gotten into so far--I am high on the wait-list at Ohio University for funding and admission, so there is that hopefully if stony brook funding doesn't pan out; having not heard from the other schools in the upper tier of my range I am doubting that any news will be good news at this point from them, but we will see...I am funded for USF, but even an unfunded Stony Brook education would be the better of the two options. Does anyone know if they make their decisions for Masters and PhDs at different times? I really hope so, but I don't feel like it is going to happen for me :\
