I am an undergrad at UC Berkeley and have been active in research in both the applied mathematics and economics departments (my two majors). What are some of the things that I can do to 1.) become more familiar with current research in political science and 2.) increase my chances of gaining admission to a top graduate program. My stats are as follows:
3.75 GPA
lots of honors math and graduate courses in economics
2 years research assistant to behavioral economics professor at cal
received fellowship for undergraduate research and am now completing a thesis on the determinants of sovereign risk in Europe.
I would really appreciate some advice and am happy to supply any other relevant details.
