  1. Just out of curiousity- Is anybody else still waiting to hear from Texas State? They haven't said a word to me. I keep checking the "online application status check" page, which is a total joke. It has said "complete ready for review" for months now. No change. It says they have received all my materials, but I have yet to receive an email or letter or anything. I know they have already sent out acceptances and rejections. I'm wondering if I fell through the cracks somehow? I've already accepted at another school but I can't help but be pretty frustrated that I jumped through all these hoops to get my application in to them by their deadline, and they can't even bother to tell me yea or nay.
  2. They sent me that letter, too!! And then I got my rejection today. What the hell, Boulder? Kinda misleading, no? Why would they do that and then reject you? Seems in poor taste. Oh well. The dry Colorado air does a number on my sinuses. I guess I will try to focus on past colorado-induced nosebleeds and not how much I love everything else about the place
  3. I'm also near the end of the alphabet and still waiting on the decision email from CU!
  4. I looked on the ASHA EdFinder website (http://hes.asha.org:8080/EdFind/Masters/MastersSearchDetail.aspx?QryStrValue=NMTS5i2F0QvHR459A4Gnl6aBNnOWzeRnYLGmG1aybophGi7R3mW8LsPhY1jl7pD9 )that has some stats for lots of programs, and it says that CU Boulder had 341 applications and accepted 57 of them. But I have no idea what year that is for. Not the current one, obviously. I have a hunch that ASHA website is fairly outdated, so I don't know if it's really any help at all.
  5. I have also applied to CU Boulder and am curious what others know about the program. I'm out of state, so I don't know much about it other than it's ranked fairly well on the US News & World Report rankings and hey, I'd love to live in Colorado. But I've heard several on here saying those US News rankings don't really mean much. For those of you who are saying good things about it and that it's highly ranked, etc, would you mind sharing what you know and why you think it's a good program? Are you basing your opinions on the rankings or other factors? I'd love to have some more info!
