(My wife is sociologist too) - She also wants to study a MPP next year, but we think that it might be difficult to be accepted by applying just to one school (Cornell). So, we wonder if going to Syracuse or Rochester really is an alternative.

Hi guys, I got admission from Cornell and I'm waitlisted in Columbia. Even though I like Cornell more than Columbia in academic terms (I'm interested in soc. strat) I'm still waiting for the Columbia's answer to make my decision. My corcern about Cornell is about living at Ithaca. Did anyone visit there? Could someone share his/her impressions about it? Thanks!

Hi guys, I officialy haven't heard about Duke, but i wrote them last week and they told me they had already sent out admission offers. Therefore, no news means either your will be rejected or you will be waitlisted.

I get it. It's a harsh process. By the way. Does anyone have got some news from Columbia?

Don't be that sad, tomatoonwheat. I've been rejected from 10 schools and I know how hard it is. Try to be positive. It is a huge random process, and most of time those decisions are not truly related to yours skills and capabilities.
