I think at this point people are assuming that--because so many other people who applied to other countries have heard back--I got rejected but am saying I haven't heard because I don't want to talk about it. UGH, JUST TELL US, ESPAÑA!

Hey Spain ETA peeps... I just called Rachel and she said, "we will probably be announcing the grantees in the coming week." I don't know if that means this week (I hope, but probably not?) or next week... but still it's soon-ish!

I find it kind of humorously annoying. A couple of my professors helped me with my application or served on my interview board, and they ask me ALL OF THE TIME whether or not I've heard anything. The conversation usually goes something like this:

-So did you hear from Fulbright yet?

-No, not yet! I don't expect to find out until April.

-Well be sure to let me know when you do!

-I will, I promise!

One week later, we have the same conversation. Do they not believe me when I tell them I'll let them know?

I am a finalist for Cantabria area !! Espero que nos digan pronto

I've been lurking on these forums for a while, but finally decided to post. I was recommended for ETA to Spain... but I don't recall being recommended for a specific region!? I know it's Madrid, Comunidad Valenciana, or Cantabria... but I didn't put a preference for any of them (although I'm gunning for Valencia) and no region was mentioned in my recommendation email. Is this bad news? Other Spain ETAs?
