Hi, I will do my PhD in Stanford starting in fall. Now I need to find a housing and Stanford offers so many options. Can anyone give me a hint on what I shall choose? Escondido Village Escondido South Lyman Graduate Residences Munger Graduate Residence Oak Creek Apartments Rains Houses Schwab Residential Center I would prefer to live alone, however, I do not have a problem to live somebody in a flat. Hi, Did anyone who is admitted to PhD EE already receive information about funding? The acceptance letter states I will receive information "as soon as possible", usually by end of March, no latest than 20th April. However, I am living and working here in Europe, in case I go to Stanford I would have to re-plan my life completely; I need to resign from my job, sell my flat etc. this takes a long time and there's much to organize. I can not even apply for visa before. On the other hand, I wouldn't be able to go to Stanford without funding :-( Since I did not hear anything until now I am afraid that I won't get any funding at all which would be a catastrophe. Anyone have experience? Regards N
