I applied to the SSA - AM program. Well, this might not sound too promising, but my last name starts with "T" and I submitted my application the day before. Either way, goodluck!
Chicago seems like an amazing program, but I simply cannot afford it :-(

I got an email yesterday night at 9:30 PM. Goodluck!

Hey monkey, may I message you regarding their financial aid situation?
-
I got in too! Congrats! What a relief.

It looks like the later, the better - good luck!
Let me know if they come to a decision. When did you apply to Minnesota? Ahh. Still on Final Review.

Looks like you're closer to the finish line than I am. As of now, I'm still stuck on "Final Review" -- CRAP!
-
Hello! Thanks for the reply. May I ask when you applied to UChicago?

Hey Prospective MSWers,
It looks like people are finally hearing back from some of their schools so I wanted to start this thread specifically for University of Minnesota applicants. For everyone who applied for the 1/5 deadline, has anyone heard back? I'm currently in the "Final Review" stage -- since Thursday!--and getting pretty nervous.

Also, wouldn't it put you more at ease to know they send out rejections first? Maybe this whole dragging-it-out-process is for acceptances! I don't know -- crossing my fingers.

I've been on "Final Review" since Thursday for the U of MN. Getting really nervous, because I know they sent their rejections for the PhD program out first.
I'm in the same situation as you, regarding the "Final Review."

Ohhh boy. Has anyone heard back from University of Minnesota? (deadline: Jan. 5th)

I came to this forum to ask this question. Thanks everyone.

Hey,
I will be applying to:
University of Chicago
University of Minnesota
University of Denver
University of Iowa
Washington University in St. Louis

Thanks for the reply!
Yeah, there's no way I could get through all of those topics. Nonetheless, it is helpful to have a general idea.

Hey All,
New here. I was browsing ETS's pool of topics for their Issue and Argument Prompts. They say that, "This page contains the Issue topics for the Analytical Writing section of the GRE® revised General Test. When you take the test, you will be presented with one Issue topic from this pool."
Can anybody verify this to be true? Thanks.

Yup. They're gifting me $12,000, but won't be enough.
