I am waitlisted for admission today. How much is my possibility to get an offer at last? Is there someone who has the same experience?

I submitted my application last November, but till now, I did not receive any information regarding my application decision from the department. An officer said that the department will finish the recommendation of admission by first week of April. I contacted a professor, but seldom replies. I wonder whether anyone received admission with financial aid from EE duke? Duke is my dream so worried about it.
