does anyone know what the review committee is looking for in the applications?

Thanks triedwaiting for answering my question . One more...the major professor I am paired with is not in my specific area of study. Do you all know how the grad school at SUNY-esf works...if we all just come in as a cohort and can eventually be paired with an advisor who is within our program or if I will be with the same one throughout my masters program? I just find that it might be difficult for both of us to complete a project if our interests are varying..thanks!

hello! I've also been accepted into the masters program at suny for fall. Have you all emailed your major advisors yet? I am unsure if I should touch base with them now, or wait until after April 15th (this is when a decision needs to be made, correct?).
