yup, here too. I wonder if we can get feedback via the freedom of information act . I might just try to be annoying and do it. Sadly I'm pretty sure I was accepted for the SMART fellowship since two interviewers said I was being recommended to the board. Guess the acceptance rates for those are much higher, or NDSEG goes off differing criteria.

I'm curious, anybody getting rejection notices yet? It seems like everyone could have hit accept or reject by now.

The only external funding I know you can stack on are things like GI Bill, disability pay, federal compensation of other types....etc. That's a bit different than taking two fellowships though.

Than again...they didn't give a year either. Just April 15th XXXX. Either way, I'm sure we'll find out eventually.

They could be waiting on lists, but then why maintain the April 15th charade if in fact that were the case....SMART went ahead and pushed their deadline so NDSEG could have done so just as easily. They could be waiting on folks to hit reject, which might queue up the next in an alternates list. If this is the case we could have a long wait on our hands. We could also be waiting on a ruby script which will reject us or accept us at some pre-determined time (15 April @ 12:01 a.m. perhaps?) either way we might as well relax, and have fun....it is a Saturday after all.

Looks like everybody can still log in...well sort of. These guys did a really poor job of designing their website. If you login to the https://ndseg.asee.org/award page and get the red box of death, you can then go to the https://ndseg.asee.org/award/2013/overview page and see a screen of well, basically the same thing we could see before they shut everyone out on Friday. At least I can. I guess the same session cookie gets set and lets you in regardless. No friendly award letter, but I can change my contact info...big whoop. Anyways, good luck everybody!! I think we're pretty much hosed at this point, but I've got my Dunkel Hefeweizen ready in either case.
