I've heard from the international alums that admin is hell, but they are mostly very happy they went. It took about a month and a half to get a response when I applied, hang in there!

I would say if you're doing Egyptology field experience and time in Egypt would be the most important factor in your application packet.

Any offers? Any Emile Boutmy scholarships? Anyone accept their admission?

Well, I just read about the aid packages on their site. I am not sure about the timing of admissions, I think they treat the rolling admissions system pretty liberaly.

Ha no. But maybe this is good news if you're still waiting. I could see them putting together their aid packages at the moment.

Well I would like to think that is the standard answer they are giving out at this point.

Yep, I called a few minutes ago. END of May.

Aight lets see if they stick to the deadline they gave me. If I don't get any news I may even call them.

I can just say that mine was "validated" almost the day I sent it in, then a month later I got an a second email saying it was validated. Like someone just said, the administration in any large french institution is just out of whack sometimes. I'm living in Paris now and I'm around Sciences Po students daily, french and american, and they all seem to say the same thing, admin is going to make you want to punch someone. So, if you think you have bad news coming, it is more likely they are just taking their time.

My file was validated a month after I submitted it. Two days later it was admissible and given to the AdComm according to the email. And that was three weeks ago. I got my decision today.

I asked a couple days ago about my decision, but I got no info.They did tell me the scholarship decisions will be out by the 10th of May. My topapply page changed to "your application has been submitted" when they notified me that my application was "admissible."

Now, I'm in the same boat, waiting for an admission decision. I hope I don't jinx myself.
