When did the phone calls start last year? besides the post referenced above, which I don't think was a usual case.

ughgradschool! - last year was a very strange EPA STAR fellowship year due to funding issues with federal gov't and a number of other factors. So don't give up hope yet. Why would we not have heard yet, if they weren't still making decisions? Still hoping and praying up here in the Northeast - A3. BTW, got GREAT news in the mailbox today....no EPA rejection letter and my tax refund !

Evolveecon - I am in the same boat as you. A3-still no news, up in the Northeast. Nice to know I am not alone.

UGH! This is torture I am in A3, are there any A3 folks out there that have already received notifications? Has anyone actually gotten positive news?

Hi all, I heard from a source at EPA that they are on track for getting all notifications out to applicants by May 1st. So hopefully we will all have an answer soon! I haven't gotten a letter yet, hopefully this is good news. My heart sinks every time I walk out to the mailbox! Thanks so much everyone for all of your updates. At least I know I am not the only one freaking out! Good luck everyone!
