Have you ever seen a formally written twitter feed? No reason to think it's not real. NIH has one too.

I hate to engage in more of this hand-waving speculation, but does it sound to you guys like not getting a rejection email in this first batch means at least honorable mention? The wording on fastlane sort of makes it sound like that.

so are any of you already in PhD programs with guaranteed funding or is everybody here in freakout mode because this funding is crucial to your academic future? edit: not to downplay anything, I realize that it's important to everyone
