Has any international students been accepted anywhere?? coz all i can see are rejections on the results board!

Or might not! (I don't think there should be a problem...)

I deferred two offer letters last year (for phd in Archaeology) and both have responded this year positively. Except, both these univs are in Europe (Southampton and Edinburgh). So, the degree of acceptance might vary in the States.

Congrats on everyone who heard good news from somewhere! Still no word. If this carries on for another few days, i'll be left without nails. MSU has already started giving out offers, but for physical anthro too?

Ah, well...Better luck to you, tho'. Wouldn't want anyone going thru' this. What about MSU or SUNY Binghamton? Haven't heard a peep from them or from the grapevines...

I got a rejection letter in my inbox from Florida for the second time! This truly hurts. my application must have been really bad!

Hey! Congrats to all who got in! Hope the rest of us hear soon too. Nailbiter, am from India. Rest assured that there is a cyber cafe after every 200 meters of any city you go to, so checking mail will not be a problem at all. u can get a sim card here and divert your calls to the new number or you can also ask someone home to answer your calls and instruct them how to reach you. So don't worry! And GOD!! Some school mail me! FAST!

Sorry (if any one missed me, that is!) for not replying for a along time. ...was busy nursing my broken heart... Yes, one rejection is good enough to send u to the pits of eternal pain. Haven't heard from the rest yet. For the people who asked, got an informal email about the rejection from univ f florida. U guys should be hearing from them soon too. Yhey have sent out letters apparently. All the best to the rest who applied there! ^No idea when one gets to hear from Harvard, but - i know this won't make a diff, but here it goes anyway - relax and be patient(!). Yeah, i got a few friends who applied to graduate schools too for Fall '08. They all happen to be from different far-away states, so my phone bill comes up to quite a massive amount!They are the only ones who can truly empathise!

Well, I can tell u who didn't get into Florida. Me. Bummer...

Ha ha! What u talking about?! I refresh my inbox every 5 minutes... And i seem to be visiting this site every time i happen to be online. I even check my spam box regularly, in case a mail (hopefully an acceptence letter) made its way there.
