@mountaingirl, if you get a chance, I'd love to hear a little about what reapplying was like this year after making it through panel review last year, since I'll be in that boat for 2013. I got some pretty specific comments from the panel review questioning the feasibility of my project-- did you work in a way to directly address past reviewers' comments? It seems they're pretty hung up on demonstrated success of the experiment, would you suggest spending a lot of time illustrating preliminary results? Any tips would be much appreciated. In the meantime, congratulations!

I just got my rejection letter today for my application to F3 (terrestrial wildlife communities). I received a single review with a single score and lengthy comments, dated April 23rd. Based on posts in previous years, I think it was from the second round, panel review. So imagine they're probably working on the internal review now.
