BU has been review applications for some time now. they have 2 open houses, one of them is already filled. The graduate coordinator said that the commitee is half way done with the 400+ applications and they are still getting more from the college. good luck to you guys.

this has got to be the saddest thing for me. I emailed a prof. at Duke asking if he would be take me as a student. He replied by saying that my application is currently being reviewed by the "committee". I think thats code for go away. what do you guys think about that messed up response?

Dude, the post might be a lie. I talked to the graduate coordinator couple of days ago and he said that they will start sending acceptances in the next few weeks. dont trust everything you read online. I thought you were an international student not from Minnesota ?

check this out i email a guy asking him if he is talking any students. he reply back saying that my application is being evaluated. what should i say to a guy like that??

i doubt anyone profs would take you if they dont reply to your email.

all the people that i would like to work for there never replied to me. i applied anyway though. I would be nice to get an ivy league education

thanks for the UMn update. I talked to BU people and the lady told me they got over 400 applications for 18 spots. she also said that they meet every friday to talk about applications. the open house is in end of this month and the end of next month. my jhu interview is on the 18th. anyone knows anything about jhu's interview?

yeah, that is me that got the invite. it is an informal invitation from a prof. that i have been talking to. I was told that I will get the official invitation soon.

no, I am still waiting. I applied right on the deadline so I guess i have to wait for a little pit. In the next couple of weeks schools are going to start replying back. Where did u go for your undergrad?
