Hi everyone,
I graduated from a famous university with a PhD in science. My PhD lead to the filing of a patent application. I forgot about it, the university handled the prosecution, and after a few years it got issued.
To my horror I discovered that the patent was named to a student other than me. There is absolutely no reason why the other student should be on the patent in the first place (did not contribute to the invention) and even less as the first inventor.
Does anyone had to deal with such issue?
