Alas, rejected as well!

I received an acceptance today as well. Fingers crossed for funding!
EDIT: This is actually for the MGPS. Didn't realise this was an MPA thread.

I'd say the marginal cost of applying to more programmes is very low. Once you've done the top schools which require tailored answers to some specific questions, the rest is just a matter of modifications to your SoP. I don't think there is a chance of spreading yourself out too thin.

Thanks yhakak. I don't know how I missed that!

I'm quite confused with this statement from HKS:
Many inquiries were on the topic of chronological order in the resume. Admissions Committee members are very interested in the history of applicants, and the easiest way for us to review applicant history is a resume listing experience in chronological order.Do they mean chronological order as in earliest experience first? Unlike the standard reverse chronological way of stating the latest first?
Or are they simply saying chronological to distinguish from a functional resume?
I've been searching through general resume practices on the web and seems like generally chronological is taken to mean (reverse) chronological.

The instructions for submitting a resume say:
"Please provide a chronological resume that highlights the following information: employment, including titles and dates (months/years) of employment for each position, job responsibilities, salary, any gaps in employment history; academic degrees, achievements and honors; volunteer, public service and political work, recent leadership experiences; extracurricular activities and interests."
Salary information on the resume? Really?

Social_kid, thanks for offering to answer queries.
I am applying to the Goldman MPP, have an average GPA (international), and solid essays and work experience (a couple of years in grassroot policy-making in India, and a year and a half in academic policy research). I am wondering if my GRE scores are enough for a top programme though - I have a 161 Q, 167 V, 4 AWA. Once I'm done with the rest of my application, would you think a retake would be worth it? I'm wondering if being short by a few quant points could prove to be decisive, particularly when it comes to financial aid? I see myself coming back to work in my home country, and simply cannot afford dollar-debt, so my ultimate choice of graduate programme would boil down to funding.

Anyone know when HKS will be posting their application?
The application is now open. Good luck!

Got in to the MSPPM last week. But barely any funding - highly unlikely to take it up.
