Anyone know of any programs that are teacher friendly? Not seeking a PhD. Solely interested in an MA. I would just like to spend a year devoted to researching US history to help update my content knowledge. I have a BA in history from small liberal arts school, and an M.Ed and an MA in social studies education from two prestigious schools. Its been a while since I've taken a proper history course and I miss it. I'm looking to leave the public school setting and go into a more prestigious private school setting. All I've been told is that the private schools don't care about having an MA in pedagogy, so, I'm looking to re-buff up my credentials with an MA in history. Thanks
