I was admitted to a Masters program at a University in Germany and I need to secure a loan to provide a financial guarantee to the German Immigration Office for my study visa. This guarantee is for 8040 eur.
I do not qualify for US Federal funding because the school is not accredited, nor can I find an American bank that will lend me a private student loan because of this.
I do not qualify for Bildungsfonds or Bildungskredit in Germany because I am not a resident nor do I have any German relatives. All of the banks I have communicated with cannot provide me a loan for these same reasons.
Does anyone know of a bank that will lend to a student in my circumstances?
HELP! I'm starting to think I may have to give up on my dream, and that is a gloomy outlook...
