I am hoping for a hand from the folks here on The Grad Cafe, so here we go. Put simply, I am hoping to find doctoral programs in Political Theory that house at least one Marx scholar, as it were. I am hell-bent of studying Marx as the focus of my graduate studies and I am here hoping for help finding programs that can accomodate me that is better than what a Google search can provide. For specifics, I don't care how well ranked the school is so long as the professor(s) in question have a history of good work in the field, nor do I much care for location so long as it is within the Continental United States or Canada, as what I am studying is much more than where I study it. Additionally, a strong Classics program would be delightful as I studied Classical Greek as an undergrad and I plan on continuing to do so. (Can't undersdtand Marx without understanding Aristotle.) And yes, I am well aware of York. I am currently working on convincing my wife to move to Toronto. Any other programs or scholars that I should look into would be greatly appreciated.
