Mgore8 Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 So i'm in the early entry program to graduate school at UNC Charlotte but recently my research interest have shifted and N.C. State seems to fit the bill. I didn't have to take the GRE to get into UNCC but I do for state. I signed up for it abruptly without much study and got 149v/151q. Im going to take it again in a month to improve them as much as possible. My question is, how much does that weaken my application. Im applying for the B.S. to PhD. mechanical engineering program. Ive got a 3.6 gpa, good LORs and a strong SOP. I also have a resume with lots of 7 semesters of TA experience, research and project experience relative to my intended field. Do you guys think I stand a change at getting in with these? What about if I applied to the masters program? I'd appreciate any imput with experience with N.C. State
