MFA Acting 2018-2019 Auditions

Hi Everyone! 

It's that wonderful time of year again, where we all put our heart and soul on the line for MFA Acting auditions! I wanted to create a forum for this year's auditions, as most cities are now nearly completed with the process. This is my third year auditioning (I was wait-listed at Yale School of Drama the first year and Old Globe last year). 

Curious to get this forum started for 2018-2019 - since now we literally have to wait.....

I know I’m waitlisted at UMKC and University of South Carolina. I think I’m waitlisted at UCF and FSU. FSU was weird... he called around 3 weeks ago and said the words “okay, let’s make this work” and I haven’t heard anything since, even after a follow up email. I feel like initial offers are out almost everywhere at this point.

 

This process is so stressful. I guess there’s still a chance that I’ll get a waitlist offer but I don’t have much hope for that at this point. I also really regret not going for bigger schools outside of URTA (brown, NYU, UCSD, Yale).

I know that it is towards the beginning of their offer period, but has anyone heard word from USD?
