cabot245 Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Hi I'm starting my MFA research, thinking about applying next winter. I notice that Stanford's MFA art practice program requires GRE scores. I haven't seen this anywhere else, and I'm not sure I want to dish out the money/effort to take the test to apply to just one school where my odds are probably low to begin with. Are there any other MFA programs that ask for GRE test scores??
Xxanderr Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Stanford is the only program that requires a GRE. I can't imagine their admissions process being crazy competitive compared to other top programs because of the GRE requirement. That definitely deters a lot of strong applicants, regardless I've heard the program is great and the funding is amazing.
