If the school starts to roll out rejects, do I still have a chance if I haven't received any response?

I am still waiting for one of my top choices. The program rolled out rejects in recent one week after two small waves of admits. I haven't heard anything from them. Although I suspect that there won't be more ADs since I only see rejects last week from that school, what I don't understand is that why they rolled out rejects day by day rather than sending out a final wave.

So does that mean they might be still processing applications so that people who didn't receive anything still have a chance?
