aec5 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 I currently deciding between Masters' programs at two different schools. After attending a visit day at School A, I realized I really don't know enough about School B's programs to make a good decision and would really like to talk to some current students there. Is it okay for me to email a faculty member and ask to get me in contact with a current student? If so, who should I ask? I haven't really been in contact with any of the schools I applied to, so I feel kind of bad waiting til the last week to ask questions.

Yes, it's okay to email to ask to be put in touch with current students. The two main options that come to mind as to who to ask would be your prospective advisor, if you know who that might be, or the Director of Graduate Studies (usually listed on the People page). If you're not sure, another option is the department admin, who would know where to direct your query. You might also just cold-email a few current students based on shared interests, if those are listed in the People page, though of course that may or may not succeed. TakeruK 1
