Hi all,

I am new to these forums and I have a bit of what I think is an unorthodox situation.

I graduated with a BS in computer science from a no-name university in a small state with a GPA below 3.0. I worked for a Fortune 100 company for 2 years and excelled, being promoted multiple times. After this, I went to a T14 (group of prestigious law schools, think Ivy League) law school and graduated with latin honors and quite a few awards. I'm hoping to get a PhD in government, foreign relations or something similar, preferably in the DC area. I'm wondering if my poor performance in undergrad will count me out for top programs, considering I have a high GRE and left law school with latin honors. I am also a minority, and I'm unsure if that would help me in my admissions.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
