imean Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 I am applying to counseling programs and received my first acceptance last week but when I got the package in the mail it didn't mention anything about funding. Someone told me they won't give it to you unless you ask for it. If this is true, how should I go about asking for funding? I know some applications asked if I wanted to be considered for an assistantship or fellowship but I won't qualify for funding based on need. I'm really uneducated about this aspect of applying to grad school... any help would be incredibly appreciated! Thanks!
JustChill Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 They get asked about that all the time, especially if they didn't mention it in their acceptance letter. Just ask about it straight up. It's not a problem at all.
