Is there anyone from Vancouver who knows more about UBC?

Next month, I am going to visit my visit my cousin who is studying in UBC. I will be there for 4 days. I am planning to book a UBC room in Vancouver. During my searches, I found it as "good suites at cheap rates". Does anyone know yet another service that provides cheap accommodation?
I should have to take a campus tour. At the time of my cousin's admission, it was the first time I visited Vancouver. At that time, we planned to join there for my graduation and masters. I am planning to join for computer science. I am interested in starting my career as a programmer. As I have already mentioned I will be there for 4 days, within those days I should have to collect all the data about UBC, its accommodations, fees structure. If possible I will book hostels for accommodation. My cousin used to share the experiences in UBC.  As he likes English, he had joined to take graduation in English. He is fully satisfied there. Is there anyone from Vancouver who knows more about UBC?
