ChemE from Cornell, Columbia and Yale...so these are the schools I have at this moment (Upenn is likely on the way also). I think I am not going to Yale anyways considering the reputation and quality of its engineering school despite that it does have a huge name. Since master's programs are self-funded, I wanna make sure that I won't end up in a school where I have to beg on the street after graduation. But among the rest, I really have no clue. In terms of engineering, Cornell is definitely the better one and the degree they offer is referred as Eng.M. (professional degree) rather than regular master's degree. Columbia and Upenn are just behind but it seems like they have bigger names than Cornell does...?? So I seriously wonder which of these schools offer the engineering master's degree that is most valued by potential employers in the industrial world and which one I should go not only in terms of education quality but also future development (job hunting, salary, promotion and such things).

Also any information about the job perspective for chemical engineers will be very helpful for me smile.gif

I appreciate your responses in advance! rolleyes.gif
