I am a 3rd year Neurobiology major at a top 10 public university and I am interested in applying to PhD programs in Neuroscience. However this quarter I was interested in pursuing engineering so I actually took 2 advanced math classes- multivariable calc and linear algebra. I don't think I'm gonna do that well (C+/B- estimate) in these classes so I was wondering how much this would affect my application. These aren't classes required by my major- these are engineering math classes. I already have finished my major math requirement with a B+. I have a 3.35 overrall with a 3.5 science GPA if that matters.
