I was initially interested in a Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree and see that many schools offer dual degrees with an MSW and Masters of Public Health (MPH). I am interested in being a LCSW post-graduate school but I do also have a general interest in public health and research since I am pursuing a B.S. in psychology. I understand the two fields are very different on a spectrum but do compliment each other when looking at the grand scheme of things. I also heard that being knowledgeable in both areas help to bridge gaps between the two fields. However, I want to know what careers, if any, are out there for this dual major and if this dual degree would be worth it. I know if I just did an MSW most grad programs do not require the GRE but MPH programs do, so I wanna start studying for it if the dual degree interests me.
