Chance of Admission when Switching Fields

Hello everyone,

I obtained my BS in Agricultural engineering from one of the best and oldest universities in my African home country. After working in the financial sector for few years I went to an European country to obtain MS in Automation Engineering. However, my intention has always been to study mechanical engineering. I am applying for PhD at some US universities now and would like to know my chance of admission based on general experience of commenters who are familiar with the US education system. My BS CGPA was 4.3/5 (about 3.45/4) and MS CGPA is 4.64/5 (about 3.79/4). My GRE is not so stellar (Q-158/V-152/AWA-4.0) and TOEFL score is 104.
