11Q13 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I know there are other topics about this, but they all seem like they're for PhD's or terminal degrees. This is for a Masters in Theological Studies, it's a non-terminal degree, my stats are all below. Basically I got into every place with some funding, but none fully funded. My top choice is Harvard, and I really have to have more funding for it to be feasible given how much their tuition is in addition to the cost of living in Boston. The reason I would name the schools is because there are probably 10,000 tiny divinity schools which would make saying "I have offers from other schools" not as meaningful as if I say 3 of the top programs in the country....does that make sense? I never planned on having to ask for more funding, I didn't anticipate all the offers being so evenly metiocrely matched, and the one program guaranteeing full funding rejected me. I can't imagine a worse outcome to being accepted into 4 or 5 of the best programs in the country and still not being able to attend. How do I go about the process of asking? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
