I have a bachelors in Computer Science from a reputed college in India with a GPA of 3.0. I am looking to apply for MS in Bioinformatics this year. I scored a 329 on my GRE and will give TOEFL by end of this month.

I would like some guidance on the universities that I qualify to apply for as well as which are the recommended ones in this field. So far I have shortlisted:

Georgia Tech

UCSD

Uni of Illinois URbana

In deciding the above, another concern raised by a few was the availability of H1B visa in US post graduation. For that reason , I was thinking of applying in Canada and Europe. However in Europe I couldn't find any good ones offering Bioinformatics(they do offer Computational Biology , but I'm not interested there).

Can you provide some help here?

P.S. This is not related to title, but what is the job market like for a BioInfo graduate in US, Canada and Europe these days?

Thanks
