Review of Writing Sample(s) (2,000 words each)

Hi everyone,

I am applying for a Master's program (in the social sciences) and would appreciate if anyone would be so kind enough as to review either one or both of my writing samples--they're only 2,000 words each!--and give me their honest opinion. I ran both essays through Readability.io and have gotten good grades.
