I am leaning towards Stanford; however, USC offers a great financial aid package.

Programs:

Management Science and Engineering in Stanford offers eight sub-areas. Plus the program is well established.

Industrial and Systems Engineering in USC is a fast growing program.

$$:

Stanford offers an one-year fellowship.

USC offers a two-year Provost's fellowship, on top of which they also throw in a two-year scholarship from women in engineering organization.

[Well, maybe I should also take into consideration that living in downtown LA might be spendier than living in Palo Alto.]

Oh, by the way, there are professors in both schools whose work I'm interested in.

Any suggestions?? Many thanks!!
