PhD Funding (US/Canada/UK)

Hello everyone!

 

I recently just finished the MLitt Renaissance in Northern Europe and Italy program at the University of Glasgow, which I loved. I am now looking at getting my PhD which I would prefer to do in Canada or the UK since it is 4 years max. I took loans to pay for my MA since I got absolutely no funding (I know, it is a controversial choice but my job was making me physically ill and I had to go) but now I would like to find funding for my PhD. I am of course looking at applying for a Fulbright, I did for my MA but didn't get it (interestingly enough, the person who got the Fulbright for my Uni did not graduate!).

Any advice from anyone on where to look for funding would be greatly appreciated!
