I'm doing a PhD program in Trauma Psychology and I'm already trying to think of a topic.

Wondering if any more experienced folks care to share thoughts on my idea of possibly doing a case study on the intergenerational impact of "traumatic living conditions" found in subsidized and/or project housing in the san francisco bay area. I'm not sure exactly where I'm going with this but something's there. I'm thinking of perhaps a correlation between subsidized housing as a poverty trap and concepts of disempowerment, post traumatic growth, and also possibly looking at those who are able to "get out." Sorry for my stream of consciousness.
