syakai59
I received an email from the DGS as follows: The Japan faculty met this morning for our first discussion of graduate applications for next year. We like your application very much. We'd like to ask you, however, what kind of financial aid you'll be needing for next year. Chinese students from the mainland often need a certain amount of assistance to receive visas from the government. But since you're in the U.S. at present, we'd like to know if this is still the case. We look forward to hearing from you. Does this mean I am accepted? Minnesotan
It looks like you're accepted, if you're not going to be too expensive.
