Nilandia Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Morning, guys! In a bit over a week, I'm going to be visiting a school which has already accepted me. I'm already set up to meet with faculty and with people to discuss financial aid. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for or asking about? The program is for a Masters in Forensic Science.
sociological_introvert Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 Not really an answer but I'm kinda in the same spot - I got accepted into a program and I want to go visit but I don't really know how to start that dialogue. Did you set up meetings before or after being accepted? Like did you email the department and just be like "I got accepted and want to come to see the area before I commit! Can I meet with you?"
Nilandia Posted February 14, 2019 Author Posted February 14, 2019 I had the meeting set up before the acceptance, actually. I had contacted graduate admissions to request a visit, and we coordinated schedules. They also set up my meeting with the program director, who will be my advisor if I attend.
