ed_psy Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 So I submitted application already and today while my supervisor asked me about how my application is coming along etc, I found out she wrote down that I'm applying for school psychology instead of educational psychology. Should I notify the schools? or ask my supervisor to write another one? I went when she said "hope you'll get in and do research in school psychology"
DariaIRL Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I don't think this is a big deal. Programs and faculty are familiar with the process of writing recommendations and there will be some slip-ups. If your recommender is an amiable person, ask her to email an updated letter with the correct program name to the schools. But otherwise, it's one word off, the other words she wrote are more important.
