theresebelivet1987 Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Hi all, I'm looking up programs in the UK that touch on gender, and so far I have stumbled upon these three that look intriguing: 1) Gender and Women's Studies and Sociology MA @ Lancaster University: https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/postgraduate-courses/gender-and-womens-studies-and-sociology-ma/ 2) MSc Applied Gender Studies Masters Degree @ University of Strathclyde: https://www.strath.ac.uk/courses/postgraduatetaught/appliedgenderstudies/ 3) MLitt, MSc Gender Studies (Applied) @ University of Stirling: https://www.stir.ac.uk/courses/pg-taught/communications-media-culture/gender-studies/ Don't ask me why I'm not planning to apply for higher-tiered schools (I only have a GPA of 3.2 in journalism, though I do have 10 years of advocacy experience in women's rights). Thoughts on my school options? How good are these schools - what are their strengths and weaknesses.
ecec876 Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 you can write a letter to explain your GPA and state your other strengths (very helpful
