payalk
I have gotten admission into both CalArts and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for an MFA in Film and Video. But not I cant decide which one to take. The plus points of calarts are that they have really good facilities, but on the negative side is that the program is for 3 years! also it is located in a really back of beyond place called valencia. SAIC is really good too but they dont have as awesome equipment at CalARTs. But its only 2 years...which means lesser money spent. I really need some help deciding
RedPotato
If you want artsy film, ie film fest stuff, go to SAIC. If you want to do tv and commercial films, CalArts is for you.
