Master at UBC or Ph.D. at Boston University

Is there anyone giving me some advice? I have to make a choice between these two offers. I think Boston is a fantasctic city to live and study. But I am a little worried that the bioinformatics program at BU is not strong enough. While for the master at UBC, I think the master degree will give a good chance to apply for a better graduate school after graduate. By the way, I applied for the bioinformatics program.

Is there anyone also knowing more about the these two programs?
